MISSION
Bar-P is an Int’l Fund for Horses campaign to raise awareness about (1) the mares and foals who are cruelly used to manufacture drugs containing conjugated equine estrogen (horse pee) by pharma giant Wyeth (now a division of Pfizer) for the treatment of menopause symptoms, then cast off or destroyed; and (2) the potential health risks to the women who take these drugs.
The Int’l Fund for horses is a 501(c)(4) equine advocacy group, working globally to protect horses through intervention, education and legislation. The iFH is noted for its imaginative and successful campaigns and deal with a wide range of horse welfare issues. Vivian Grant is its founder and President.
